Why "ORGANIC+" is the purest choice

When underwear is worn directly against the skin, every detail counts.

Organic+ stands for 100% organic cotton – unbleached, undyed, and consciously reduced to the essentials. Especially with bodysuits, briefs, or boxer shorts, movement creates continuous friction between skin and fabric. That's why we forgo additional visual enhancements or color treatments in our Organic+ products.

The fabrics are made in Italy and meticulously crafted – resulting in durable baby and children's underwear that feels natural and is intentionally minimalist. The natural cream tone is not an aesthetic compromise – it's proof that nothing has been added. Each garment contains natural cotton inclusions, demonstrating its purity.

Especially suitable for: newborns (whose skin is most sensitive), children with atopic dermatitis or contact allergies, and parents who value minimal processing.

Frequently Asked Questions about Organic+

Why is underwear made from natural cotton particularly useful?

Underwear fits snugly and creates friction through movement. The fewer additional treatments a fabric undergoes, the more minimal its processing. Many parents therefore consciously choose unbleached and undyed materials for underwear.

For which children is "Organic+" best suited?

Especially suitable for newborns (0-6 months, whose skin is still more permeable), children with diagnosed atopic dermatitis or contact allergies. But also perfectly safe for all other children – it's simply purer and less processed, its function remains the same.

Is unbleached and undyed cotton better for eczema?

Yes. Dyes – even those tested for harmful substances – and bleaching agents can irritate sensitive skin. For those with atopic dermatitis, pediatricians and midwives particularly recommend undyed, unbleached cotton because it eliminates any potential source of irritation. Many health insurance companies even explicitly require unbleached, undyed clothing for reimbursement.

How can I get a subsidy from my health insurance company in Germany for special clothing (e.g., for atopic dermatitis) for my child?

1. Obtain a doctor's prescription.

Have your pediatrician or dermatologist issue you a prescription. It is important that the diagnosis (e.g., atopic dermatitis) and the medical necessity of the special clothing are noted on the prescription.

2. Submit an application to the health insurance company

Either you submit the doctor's prescription for approval before purchasing the product, or you purchase the product yourself first and then send in the invoice and prescription for reimbursement.

3. Submit documents

For the review, a doctor's prescription, invoice or offer, and possibly a brief medical explanation are usually required.

4. Wait for the refund.

After review, the health insurance company will cover the costs in whole or in part, depending on the tariff and benefits stipulated in the statutes.

Note for privately insured persons

With private health insurance, reimbursement depends on the individual policy. It is therefore advisable to submit a written request for benefits to the insurance company before making a purchase.

Is unbleached & undyed cotton scratchy?

No. The softness comes from the quality of the cotton and the weave – not from the dye. The "Organic+" fabrics are pre-washed and just as soft as Organic.

Does unbleached organic cotton look different?

Yes. Unbleached cotton doesn't have a bright white tone, but rather a natural, slightly warm color with natural inclusions of the cotton. This isn't a quality defect, but a sign that optical brightening has been deliberately avoided.

Does "Organic+" turn grey or yellowish after several washes?

No. The natural cream tone will be retained. Important: Do not use detergent with optical brighteners – this would distort the color. Regular sensitive detergent without bleach is perfectly sufficient.

Do I still need to wash new clothes multiple times?

It is normally recommended to wash new baby or children's clothing three times before first wearing. With "Organic+", this is unnecessary – the fabrics are pre-washed, undyed, unbleached, the products are pre-ironed, and they have not been preserved for long transport. Our textiles can be worn immediately.
